EMBEDDED LED LETTERS AND LOGO
Scope of work: Fabricate and deliver 6 double sided internally illuminated freestanding signs
Six freestanding signs were fabricated and delivered for the Exploratorium. Each sign is double-sided with three separate panels that are removable and can be changed or replaced at later dates. The LED lighting is edge to edge on acrylic panels. The freestanding signs are fabricated from aluminum and powder coated for durability. The sign bases are 1” thick powder coated steel plates. The larger freestanding sign has a 65” Samsung monitor that is mounted inside the sign. Brochure holders were fabricated below the monitor which also can be closed. All the freestanding signs have a standard 110 volt plug for customer convenience.
SCOPE OF WORK: LOBBY SIGN AND INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED EXTERIOR SIGN FACE LIT LETTERS WITH HALO DIAMOND AND STARS
Over a span of six months, we had met with Signature Inn’s team from Denver, CO to create lobby signage that needed to meet their design criteria. The “Signature” sign was installed on top of the sign design elements which were the one diamond in middle and the two stars, one on each end. The interior lobby sign was made from ¼” and ½” thick aluminum. Both stars and the diamond were mounted with 1/4” spacers and the “Signature” individual letters were mounted with ¾” spacers. Designing and installing this signage gives it more of a three dimensional look (3D look). The exterior signage was designed in the same manner as the interior lobby sign but illumination was added. The diamond and both stars were rear lit internally illuminated with 1/8” thick aluminum with white reflective surface. The “Signature” letters were internally illuminated face lit letters.

Here at Oakland Sign Co., we had designed, fabricated, and installed new signs, vinyl graphics and awnings for TableTop in San Francisco. The blade sign was double-sided, internally illuminated with push through acrylic letters and logo. The aluminum awnings with down lights were custom-made and mounted above the main entrances. The main exterior signs were internally illuminated with RGB LED lighting. The trimless letters and logo signage were internally illuminated and mounted to a custom-designed raceway with push through letters. The brick-designed vinyl graphics measured to be 285 linear feet and were installed on the building fascia.
SCOPE OF WORK: BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL LETTERS, EMBEDDED INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED LOGO, CUSTOM HANGING SIGN WITH INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED LETTERS
Above the entrance is the main signage that is internally illuminated with 1.5” thick embedded letters and logo. The letters were mounted to a steel beam and the logo was mounted to the ceiling with hidden mounting fasteners and a custom stainless steel bracket. The letters and logo that are mounted on the ceramic tile wall are 0.25” thick, brushed, stainless steel and were installed with studs. The hanging sign is internally illuminated with 1” letters and mounted with studs. The wiring harness, ballast, and on-and-off switch are hidden behind the hanging frame.
BACKLIT FABRICATED STAINLESS STEEL SIGN
SCOPE OF WORK: INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED SIGN AT ENTRANCE, BRUSHED LOGO NEAR RECEPTION DESK, NEON LOGO MOUNTED TO BAR SHELVING, VINYL LOGOS ON WINDOWS
The signage over the main entrance doors is an internally illuminated 7’ x 4’ LED sign. The sign face is vinyl and mounted on the first surface exterior above the doors. The sign cabinet is internally illuminated and was mounted inside the restaurant behind the vinyl sign face. The logo is 0.5” thick brushed brass with sandblasted edges which were mounted on sheetrock wall with studs and silicone. The 36” high x 5” deep neon letters were mounted to the shelving above the bar. The vinyl logos on the restaurant windows were mounted to the second surface.
INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED LOBBY SIGN AT RECEPTION DESK, ACRYLIC LETTERS AND LOGO MOUNTED TO WALL
The custom fabricated 24” internally illuminated halo lobby sign was mounted on the front of the reception desk at the main entrance. Due to the wood slats on the reception desk, the lobby sign was designed to have a white backing so the halo effect was achieved by reflecting off the backing plate. Additional signage was installed above the lunch area which consisted of ½” thick laser cut painted acrylic. All the letters and logo were painted to the customer’s PMS colors. They were mounted with studs and ¾ spacers.
BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL LETTERS MOUNTED TO MONUMENT SIGN, CLEAR ACRYLIC WITH SECOND SURFACE VINYL GRAPHICS
The customer had existing lobby and monument signs that needed to be updated with their new logo. San Jose Sign had updated their internally illuminated lobby sign with their new logo. San Jose Sign had also fabricated and installed 10” high x 1” deep brushed stainless steel letters on a double-sided monument sign.
ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENT SIGN
NON-ILLUMINATED PAINTED STAINLESS STEEL LOBBY SIGN AND EXTERIOR PAINTED STAINLESS STEEL LOGO
Oakland Sign Co. fabricated and installed two sets of painted stainless-steel logos. The 14” high x 1” deep lobby sign was painted custom PMS colors of ITVS. The lobby sign was mounted to ceramic tiles with studs. The 36” high x 2” deep exterior sign was mounted with studs and 1” spacers onto stucco wall above the main entrance. Also, all the required interior ADA signage per California Title 24 were supplied for installation.
ALUMINUM LOBBY SIGN AND INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED EXTERIOR SIGN
We fabricated and installed the lobby signs and internally illuminated exterior signage for WIPRO at their Mountain View, CA location. The lobby sign is 12” high x 1” thick fabricated from aluminum and was mounted with studs and 1” spacers. The internally illuminated LED exterior building sign is 60” x 72” fabricated from aluminum with push through acrylic logo. The sign cabinet was mounted to the third floor, close to the roofline. The WIPRO logo consisted a little over 80 different colors.
CUSTOM MADE ACRYLIC LOBBY SIGN WITH INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED BUILDING SIGNAGE
These interior and exterior building signage were designed and fabricated for NICE America by Oakland Sign Co. The lobby sign is custom painted, ¼” thick acrylic and was installed with 1/2” spacers and studs. The internally illuminated trimless exterior building sign mounted to a brick façade with studs is 36” high x 4” deep. The non-illuminated, stainless steel letters are 6” high x 2” deep and were mounted with studs and 2” spacers. White vinyl letters were installed at all their entrances on the second surface of the doors and windows.

POSH RESTAURANT DESERVES GREAT SIGNAGE
Oakland Sign Co. had designed, manufactured and installed all of Alexander’s steakhouse signage at their Cupertino, CA location. They needed a wide variety of signage for this particular location. The building signs are internally illuminated halo (back lit) red LED lettering mounted on rock facia. The 18” high aluminum letters were mounted with 1” spacers. In the pastry area is an internally illuminated push through acrylic signage which was mounted to a wooden wall. An aluminum hanging sign was custom-made with acrylic letters and mounted above the entrance of the pastry. Custom signage was also mounted on the interior of the restaurant. Oakland Sign Co. manufactures and installs all of Alexander’s steakhouse locations and their affiliates.
BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL LETTERS, EMBEDDED INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED LOGO, CUSTOM HANGING SIGN WITH INTERNALLY ILLUMINATED LETTERS
Oakland Sign Co. fabricated an internally illuminated halo logo 14” high x 2” deep with 9” high lettering for Trusted Site. The lobby sign is internally illuminated which was installed right across from the elevator doors. The electrical wiring was run through the wall into the upper ceiling where the ballasts are installed.

WE FIX REFACE EXISTING SIGNAGE
This wooden monument sign at 3000 Sandhill Rd. in Menlo Park, CA was updated by Oakland Sign Co. The sign was repainted and the list of tenants was re-faced and fabricated with a new design. The street address itself was fabricated from 12” high x ½” thick, black acrylic and was mounted with studs. This project was rather difficult to fix because the existing sign was much older and required more care. Whether it is aluminum, wood, or stainless steel, Oakland Sign Co. was able to help with any signage needs.

ULTIMATE SIGNAGE BRANDING
Oakland Sign Co. designed and fabricated these letters to stand out from their competition. The non-illuminated channel letters are 36” high x 5” deep and were mounted to the building facia. The extra height and depth of the letters were needed because of the length and size of the sign. The lobby sign around the logo was fabricated from a design from the 1900s and has a layered effect which gives an extra dimension.
